"I'm not photogenic," I often hear people say. Usually from people who've never been photographed in a relaxed setting. They don't need to worry about where to put their hands or what expression to make. I'll take care of that.
We’ll discuss what you need the photos for and the impression you want to make. Whether it’s for your website, a professional profile, or a job application—a photo often has to serve more than one purpose. Then we’ll take some photos, review them together, and figure out what works best for you. You’ll receive guidance without having to put on a facade. And there’s plenty of room for laughter along the way.

We'll figure out what you need.
Looking to update your LinkedIn profile, add photos to your website, or put together a job application? Tell me about it. We’ll discuss where and in what contexts you’d like to use the photos, find the right setting, and schedule a time. Feel free to choose a time of day that works best for you.
You can see what's taking shape.
In the studio, we’ll change your clothes and the background as needed. We’ll review the results as we shoot. At the end, we’ll select your photos together. You decide which ones you’d like to take home.
Your picture remains your picture.
I retouch the selected portraits naturally and subtly. You'll receive the finished files via a personal download link, formatted for print and digital use.

My satisfaction guarantee applies to individual clients: If you don't like any of the photos at the end of the photo session and don't select any, I won't charge you anything. You'll make that decision when we go through the photos together.
What you might
still want to know.
I feel self-conscious in front of the camera. Can I still do this?
Yes. You don't need any experience, and you don't have to think of poses in advance. I'll guide you; we'll talk as we go and look at the photos together along the way. That way, you'll get into it step by step.
What clothes should I bring?
Bring a selection of outfits that suit your profession and your personal style. It’s important that you feel comfortable in them. Muted colors and understated fabrics usually work well; very small patterns can make the overall look feel busy. If you’re wearing black and white, be sure to pack a colorful alternative as well.
How else can I prepare?
Please arrive as well-rested as possible and allow some extra time at the end. You can style your hair however you’d like. Feel free to wear subtle makeup as you normally would. If we’ve arranged for a makeup artist, please come without makeup if possible; we’ll discuss the details beforehand.
How do I select the photos, and how do I get them?
At the end of the session, we’ll select your photos together. Afterward, I’ll edit them using a natural retouching style. You’ll receive the finished files via email through a personal download link. You can also order printed photos and either pick them up or have them shipped to you.
Which plan is right for me?
The “Very Good and Fast” option is designed for a single photo for a specific occasion. The Business Photo / Headshot option allows more time for different expressions and backgrounds. Personal Branding is intended for a more extensive photo series. We have a special offer for high school and college students up to age 27. If you’re unsure, we’ll clarify this with you beforehand.
